I'm taking pictures whenever possible. Just like this picture taken this morning when I spent my day in a symposium about critical care. It kinda hard to take pictures daily. So when it possible I tried to take a lot of pictures just in case I don't have a chance to go out or do something interesting.
Few days ago I published a tutorial how to make cheap vacuum-sealer bag from grid seal bag on snapguide. This is my fifth tutorial published there. This inspiration came up when my sister and I packed rendang that will be delivered to our customer. Thanks to years of medical school :) But I still need to figure out how long this vacuum bag will last.
It's been a long time since I step in this place again. This is one of the hallways at the clinic for outpatient in RSCM. Now the hallway looked a lot nicer than years ago.
Since I'm learning how to cook 7 years ago, I always look for easy but delicious recipe. Although lately I also learn how to cook more complicated food. Still the easy things help the most. One of the simplest things is making this salad that contain of carrot and daikon.
I keep my recipe in application called Bento. It's a database application and can be used for all kind of database. This application can be connected between my phone, laptop and iPad. I just need to sync it. To bad this application discontinued from the market. I love to check out which recipe hasn't been tried before or has no pictures. From 173 recipes, I still hasn't try about 48 recipes. Inspired by Sandra Juto on her blog, I'm starting to make my own granny square afghan project. Actually I start it around November 2013 but since I'm helping my sister to take care her daughter, Amira, I just couldn't find the time to continue it. On the 21st day of my 365 of 204 projects, I decided to make it as another project for 2014. Hopefully it will finish before this year turn into 2015 :)
After Amira turn 4 months, she starts using a baby sitter and I have more spare time to work on this project. Around mid July, I was able to finish 400 circles that will be joined into granny square afghan. I finally able to finish this project yesterday, just before the date turns into November 5th. So here are my Granny Square Afghan Project. I'm using cotton yarn with 3 mm crochet hook. Combination of 11 colour for the circle and 1 colour to join all of them. Each square has a different colour combination. Weigh 1.35 kg and 145 cm x 135 cm in size, this afghan contain 400 granny squares. Sandra Juto sell her blanket for €599 while mine is not for sale at the moment :) Spend all day weaving and trimming the tail from granny squares. By 11.30 P.M., I finish my Granny Squares Afghan Project. I'm so happy <3<3<3
I wasn't able to finish my project by the end of the month and quite busy Saturday and Sunday. But today all the squares have been connected into a blanket and I finally able to finish up the edge too.
We are celebrating Amira's first birthday with family. We are having lunch at Riung Tenda and then had a birthday cake.
Spend all day at technical meeting. I love how this place provide us a glass and a jar of water instead of plastic bottled water.
Today I'm visiting a yarn store at Tebet. I always love to come to this store. So many yarn and I would like to buy them all :) I'm adding 8 new colour for my tumbler/bottle holder collection. I also found cotton yarn #10 for my barbie collection with reasonable price.

So many people complaining about trash that produce during Pesta Rakyat on Monday. Hey you... your trash/waste is your own responsibility. How you manage your trash not only by throwing it into the trash bin but also how you manage the waste/trash that you produce. Avoid using single use plastic packaging, Styrofoam, or paper box. Bring your own reusable plastic container/tumbler/water bottle/spoon-fork-knife whenever possible. Ask the barista to use a glass or mug when you drink in a coffee shop or use your own tumbler to take away drink.
Since yesterday we leave home around 1 p.m., we only saw the last part of the parade. This car was on the end of the parade. Lots of people walking for more than 5 km to celebrate the President inauguration.
Today Indonesia has a new President. People go to parade on main street and Pesta Rakyat at Monas. So many people come to this event. Uni Shanty, Kaysan, Wira and I joined the parade in the afternoon. We stay at Monas until around 7 p.m. I catch a glimpse of sunset today.
All my tumbler holder were sold out. So I start to make some new one to sell. I need to finished it before Wednesday. Work...work...and more work...
