Cha Yen a.k.a. Iced Thai Tea

I love this kind of beverages. I usually bought it but since I found the tea, I try to make my own cha yen. So far, I used tea in tea bag because it's the only Thai tea we can found.

update: Finally I found the tea leaves without a bag :) I used 'Number One' brand.

Servings: 2

Ingredients:

• 4 teaspoon Thai tea leaves (or 2 tea bags)
  
• 1 cup Water
  
• 5 teaspoon Sugar (you can add as much as you like, but I don't like to sweet)
  
• 10 teaspoon Evaporated Milk
  
• 10 teaspoon regular Milk
  

• A pot for boiling water
  
• Big, fine strainer or seive, or a traditional tea sock, if you can find one at the asian market
  
• Stirring implement (long spoon, piece of rebar, etc.)
  

Directions:

• Bring your water to a boil in a pot. When the water begins to boil, remove the pot from the heat to stop the boiling, and then add the tea leaves to the pot, stirring to moisten them.
  
• Set your timer for 10 minutes, and wait. 
  
• When your timer goes off, carefully strain the tea into a cup or glass through a sieve or tea sock until half full.
  
• Add sugar, and stir to dissolve. Add evaporated and regular milk. Mix it and then add ice cubes.
