This is the last posting on January 2014. I would like to show you the progress I make since my posting 10 days ago. In between taking care Amira and playing with her, I'm able to do some crochet. Still need plenty of granny square to complete my afghan but surely it's a progress :)

Since the rain, flood and being a sitter, I rarely going out. Most of my day spent inside the house, especially a day like today. Amira is not feeling well today. She had hoarse voice since she keep on screaming the other day. How I missed taking a long walk and take pictures. This picture was one of the pictures taken in Bellagio, Italia almost 2 years ago.
Today Amira's mom working from home, so I have some time to myself. I am working on my barbie's blog. I took pictures some of new dress that haven't posted in the blog. I feel my creativity light up. I am thinking about make other things.
This is my third attempt on making apple pie. The taste is good but still don't look like the one in the recipe book I had. Should I try another one?
I took this picture with one of the old 50 mm lens. Lately I try to take pictures with manual mode. Just try to get used to looking into light meter again.
Amira a litre bit fussy today, so I didn't do many things today. She sleep quite long in the morning but stay awake most of the afternoon. How was your day? I am thinking to learn about food photography. So I start to collect the properties such as fabric, plate, spoon and other things. Still thinking about it but haven't do it much :)
This is just a glimpse of the sky from my bedroom window at noon. After a heavy rain for a week, it was nice to see a blue sky with scattered white cloud. Even though the sky start to turn grey again in the afternoon but so far the rain hasn't come yet. Hopefully tomorrow the weather is nice enough for me to go out with my bike.
Nuy is coming to J-Town and the Darmadjaja's had dinner at Anatolia. It's a nice place to eat any kind of lambs :) When the last time you went to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah? I was there last May. I was riding a bike from home with my sister, Shanty. I remember more than a decade ago I took pictures of 24 provinces traditional house of Indonesia.
Wow...I finally done my 3rd week from this project. Today I start on working with my granny square blanket project. I have start it 2 months ago and haven't had a chance to finished it. Hopefully I be able to finish this project before 365 of 2014 project done :)
I had an accident this morning and caused a sprain ankle and some scratches in my hand & feet. Since I had to do RICE for my swollen ankle, I stay in bed most of the day. I look up some pictures in my computer for today post and I think this one will brighten my day. This was one of the trip I did back in 2011 to Köln.
I was walking in Jalan Braga, Bandung this morning. I really enjoy it in the midst of unpredictable weather. I also enjoy taking pictures in here. Actually I planned to go there last night because I got an information that every Saturday night, the government will close the road for Braga Culinary Night. The first Braga Culinary Night was held on January 11th, 2014, but the second BCN was canceled due to an evaluation.
I was attending my friend's wedding in Bandung this morning. I went with Wira, Melissa & Melissa's mother. I'm thinking about take pictures while in Bandung. This is one of them. Since I don't bring my computer, I do everything with my phone.
Bogor is raining continuously since last night. Sometimes it stop for a minute and then start again. Hopefully it's not worsening the flood that already happen in Jakarta.
Today is our 9th wedding anniversary. For it, we do thursday getaway to Bogor. We spend the night at Novotel Hotel, had lunch and dinner together. It feels like our honeymoon all over again 😄 I love you dear. Hopefully we will be together forever and filled with lots of love 😘 The rain still on and off today, so I stay at home allay. Thinking about taking some pictures but the time just passing by so quickly. So I'll put a picture taken about a year ago at Tjong A Fie's House, Medan, during my first travel in 2013. That was my first time went to Medan and it feels like I want to see everything there. Besides visiting family and touristic places, I also try some food and meet one of my friend who live there.
Tukang sayur keliling or you can translate it into mobile vegetable vendor is one thing you can find in Jakarta. Instead of going to the market (traditional market or supermarket), you can buy any kind of vegetables from this vendor. Besides vegetables, this tukang sayur also bring eggs, fishes, meat, chickens, and even snacks such as bakwan, timus, and other things. We can get fresh stuffs everyday. It feels like having a market in front of your house without all the messy :) Even you can order something and they will bring it the next day. As an example, you are planning to cook something with mushroom, you can ask the seller to buy it for you and he/she will bring it the next day.
Another gloomy day. It's been raining on and off since saturday night and some area in Jakarta already flooding. If you don't have to go out, so staying at home is the best choices. That's what I do. So I'll post another sunrise picture from the other day to brighten the day. Stay safe and dry...
The rain is pouring since last night, so I stay inside during the day. To accompany the day, my lovely husband made me Masala Chai. When he visit India few months ago, I asked him to buy garam masala for tea. Something original from India :) The tea taste spicy but quite nice. Something good in this gloomy day.
When I look out the window and see redness sky, I change my clothes and get my camera. I'm looking forward to catch a sunrise just near a place I live. My housing complex had a look-like temple as a gate. I think it will be nice to take pictures there during sunrise. So today's picture is the sunrise. I had difficulty to choose one out of 36 pictures.
On my 10th day of this project, I start to have problem on taking daily pictures because sometimes I don't have time to go out. So I have to share another pictures I took the other day. After I'm thinking thoroughly, I decided to post picture in this project that hasn't been posted before if I don't have time to go out. Hopefully it will go smoothly after this. Today I took care Amira and make another pouch for my mom, so I'll share another picture from yesterday. This is Taman Ekonomi at Salemba 4. This park located just behind the Kimia Room. Seeing this park yesterday felt like an oases in the middle of concrete jungle of Jakarta. I remembered the old time when my friends and I sometimes spent the day in here. I would love to come back just to seat and enjoy the air.
Taman Kimia, that's what we used to call this place. A sitting area with big tree in the middle located near Kimia Room at Salemba 4. That's the reason we call it Taman Kimia. This place was one of my favourite place during my first year in university. Love to sit under this big tree. Back then it's a car free place. My friends and I used to sit in here during break to eat our lunch or just talk about everything or study.
Today, when I went to the meeting, it cross my mind to post a picture about this place. I don't have a chance to go out today. So I will post one of yesterday's picture that I took during my morning walk. I took this picture similar to this for few days since I love to see the green of bamboo trees welcoming me. The color very soothing dan fresh. I love walking around the place I live.
