 This is all pictures I took in November 2010. No special occasion, sometimes we just walking around the city. The weather quite cold for me especially since I just came from tropical country.
We visit a Weihnachtmarkt in Alexanderplatz. It was amazing how they create all the rides just in one night. They also sell lots of candies, foods and gluhwein. It seems everybody are there because there so many people at one time. Thinking about going with one of those rides? No way...I will freeze my butt :) Still amazed with all the people that try the ride. I start taking my Deustchkurs this month. And at the end of the month our class had breakfast at Anna Blume (Prenzlauerberg) and then we went to the museum in Mitte. I took all the pictures in this album with my iPhone. I'm using Hipstamatic application. Some picture might not really clear and nice but there's always something to enjoyed. That's the way this application work. I was trying a few combination of lens and film.

 Punya hobi fotografi? Punya kotak penyimpanan peralatan fotografi/dry box? Pake Silika Gel sebagai penyerap air?
Kalau jawaban dari pertanyaan diatas adalah "YA", mungkin ini bisa jadi solusi untuk tempat silika gel yang bisa dipakai berulang kali dibandingkan kantong plastik. Biasanya kalau kita membeli silika gel, kemasan yang digunakan adalah kantong plastik ukuran kecil yang kedap udara. Dan saat kita akan menggunakan silika gel tersebut, kantong plastik harus ditusuk dengan jarum untuk membuat lubang pada plastik sehingga silika gel bisa menyerap uap air dan peralatan fotografi kita tidak mudah berjamur. Setelah beberapa saat (tergantung kelembaban dalam dry box), silika gel akan berubah warna dari biru/ungu menjadi merah jambu. Ketika sudah berubah menjadi merah jambu, itu saatnya silika gel di keringkan dan digunakan kembali. Tapi sayangnya, kantong plastik yang semula kita gunakan sudah tidak dapat kita gunakan lagi sehingga harus ganti kantong plastik. Kalau setiap 2 bulan kita ganti kantong plastik, tentunya sampah kantong plastik akan menumpuk dan dampaknya tidak baik untuk lingkungan. Tidak ada salahnya kita menggunakan tempat yang bisa dipakai ulang untuk tempat silika gel.

This morning we all get ready to go to Surabaya. We leaved after having breakfast. Yeah...this hotel including breakfast. After asking about place to find some souvenirs from Malang, we decided to went to Jl. Semeru. But on the way, I think we kinda missed the road. After going around for a while finally we found the way. From Malang the souvenirs weren’t a clothes or pins but foods. I bought some kripik tempe (tempe chips). This is typically Malang. Enough with souvenirs we continued the trip to Surabaya. We reached Surabaya around 1 p.m. And decided to had lunch first before we going around. Depot Bu Rudy was our destination for lunch. It’s a restaurant that known for the really hot sambal (condiment contained chilly peppers). The foods were delicious with a big size iced tea on side. Before going we also bought some bottles of sambal. Nuy, Ketty and Rory really a maniac to this sambals :).  06.11.2011
We will go back to Surabaya and then met Ketty, Rory and Alex there. After that we will went to Mount Bromo (also known as Bromo). Ketty already chartered a car for us to go to Bromo. To go back to Surabaya we used the Silver Travel again. This time we met Ketty and others in Nasi Pecel Khas Surabaya stall. Because Nuy & me hadn’t any breakfast, we decided to ate here first before went to Bromo. The nasi pecel only cost you Rp. 5000 and taste good. The car that we chartered cost Rp. 250.000 and we pay Rp. 100.000 for the driver. The trip to Bromo took about 4 hour. We chat along the way. We stayed at Cafe Lava Hotel in Bromo. The room rate Rp. 360.000. This hotel took placed just before entrance gate to Bromo. We arrived in Bromo around 4 p.m. After put our bag in hotel, we went to find something to eat and something warm. Because it’s quite cold in Bromo and raining. Hopefully the weather’s good tomorrow morning because we would like to see sunrise.  In here you can find out another way of looking Malang, Bromo & Surabaya. Taken with my Hipstamatic.
 This is another old story from my other blog about one of my traveling. A week get away with my sisters in law and friends. What interest me most is Bromo. Never been there before. There was a plan made in 1988. But because of one accident in Bali, the plan was canceled. After that, my sisters already had a chance to visit Bromo. This story will be divided into 3 stories: Malang, Bromo and Surabaya.
04.11.2010 I have to met Nuy in Malang on Nov, 3rd 2010. But, because I have to take care some important stuff then I move my schedule one day. So my flight on Nov, 4th was at 6 a.m. The plane is delayed about 30 minutes but all the way was quite nice. The pilot even told us about the smoke produced by Mount Merapi (it was erupting few days before). The flight took about an hour. After I gathered my luggage, I have to find the transportation to go to Malang. Nuy had told me about the one she used the night before. After made a few phone call then the transportation was settle. A little bit about Juanda Airport. Once I look at it, I think it’s a nice and clean airport. When the plane landing, you can see lots of Egret bird (burung Kuntul). But the information board not really informative. It’s kinda hard to find some places. Even when I ask some officers, the answer not really clear. There’s a plenty of shops you can see and some restaurant and coffee shop too. But unfortunately the people who used this airport not really behave. You can’t find any spot that smoke’s free. Everybody just smoking everywhere. It’s really annoying for me. Membaca tulisan ini membuatku teringat pengalamanku akhir-akhir ini. Allah punya caranya sendiri untuk memberikan kita yang terbaik. Alhamdulillah atas segala pilihanNya untukku. |
