I also read about how to organized your sewing stuff in Household Management 101 on Facebook. I would like to share a little bit about how I organized my sewing kits.
In my house, most of us know how to used a sewing machine and able to used it for simple stuffs. We also know how hand sewing button and others. But I might be the one using more of this sewing kits. So I like my things to be organised. I used plastic portable shelves with three-drawers. In top drawer, I put my scissors, measuring tape, chalk, fabric pencils, and pliers. Meanwhile in the middle drawer I put all threads, needles and seam ripper. And in the last drawer I put elastic band, ribbons, bias tape, button, velcro and lace. I choose the portable shelves so I can move it where ever I like :)

Yesterday I read about how to solve a pile of shoes problem in Household Management 101 on Facebook. It makes me want to share how to solve the same problem in my home. There are 10 people who lived in my home. One is baby so she has no shoes at the moment and one is babysitter (she only have 1 pair of shoes). So there are 8 of us that always put shoes near the front door. Sometimes it cause a pile of shoes by the door.
To solve the problem we make a shoe racks under the stairs. But we are to lazy to put it there. So we decided to put one shoe rack by the front door. So when we arrive we can put the shoes in it. Of course all of us have more than I pair. I even have more than six pairs. First of all we decided which shoes will be used frequently and which one is used less. The shoes used frequently will have space at the shoe rack by the door and the rest will be put in the shoe rack under the stairs. Besides shoes, we also spare some space to put shoes equipments such cleaning rags, shoe polish and other stuffs. We design unused space on the top of the shoe rack to put our bicycle helmets. Hope it can help to give an idea to solve the problem. It's time for picnic... While laying down in my room and drinking plenty of water since suffering from another dehydration, let me tell you about picnic in family. When I was little, one of the memorable moment was picnic in Ancol. We got up really early in the morning. Bibik Karmi prepared all the food that will be needed. My father warm up the car and off we go to Ancol. A beach area in Jakarta. We will spent the morning swimming, catching jellyfish, enjoying the water, digging the sand and try to make a castle. After that we enjoyed all the food we brought from home. We went back home in the midday or afternoon.
Well...yesterday we had a little bit flashback of that picnic. And we are planning for another picnic already :) We are addicted to picnic :D Here's our group selfie taken before we start fun run & fun walk on Nova Women's 5K. So many people join the event. After we reach finish line and have a good rest, we move to have picnic. We prepared all the things we want to bring today since last night. But still we forgot the milk pie, banana, tahu goreng :) We have so much fun this morning.
We're having birthday brunch today. We're celebrating my mother-in-law's birthday. Brunch means got up early for my husband :) We spent the afternoon visiting an uncle that hospitalized. At night we're getting ready for fun run & fun walk tomorrow. We will have picnic afterward.
Have you ever wonder what your kitchen cupboard contain off? In house with 10 people living in it, this kind of problems sometime appear. Such as when my sister asking where I keep things or spices or else. So I come up with something informative for those question. I write down inside my kitchen cupboard door with board marker that eraseable the things I put. So when my sister looking for flour, she just need to open one of those door and see what's inside. It's quite simple but really working. If you wondering how I make label on the second row, check out in here.
Since a got a bad headache since last night probably due to dehydration, I spend the day at my room resting and drinking plenty of water. It gets better after I drink about 2 litres of water. Well, there's still a bit of headache but it get lighter than this afternoon. And because I don't get out, so here's a picture of yesterday sunset I took from the car.
I got out today with the sun shining so bright, the sky is blue and the white cloud scattered in sky look so puffy. Ooo... I love to look up along the way to the hospital. This pretty blue sky as witness when one my family went to see God.
Today is a creativity day. Kaysan is making some bracelet and sell it to his mother and grandmother. Beside that we also restore some of my mom's old necklaces. When I get tired of putting beads one by one, I open up the sewing machine and sew some fabric I had.
I'm not doing so many things today. I'm mostly watching movies and looking after Amira. Wira bring food from Sibualbuali restaurant for our dinner and it's so tasty and remind me of Medan-Toba Trip last year.
Wira and I spend our day buying containers dan groceries. Another containers needed to empty some space at Yani's room. I can't wait to have another space for me. Today's weather quite weird, one moment the sky is blue and the next hour grey cloud cover the J-town.
After all spent the day and night outside yesterday, we decided to stay at home today and enjoying gulai kepala ikan imported from Padang. I also resizing the pictures to post in my blogs. The picture above is one of them. It's time to write about my previous travel event :)
Spend about 6 hours in hospital visiting my uncle and Wira's cousin who were hospitalized at Cipto Mangukusumo Hospital and spend the night in the dark at Rawamangun.
I am laying in bed accompanied by a cup of chamomile tea and thinking about places I would like to visit. The picture above taken from last year trip to Singapore.
The rain is on off today. But in between you can see blue sky with puffy clouds. It seems like a cotton ball, so puffy and soft. It reminds me one of Indonesian nursery song that says,
"Kulihat awan, seputih kapas, arak berarak dilangit luas, andai ku dapat kesana terbang, akan kuraih kubawa pulang." This is a temporary disposal site near my housing. They put all the trash from nearby to here while wait to be removed to the landfill. Some people who live nearby this place are trash collector. They usually collect plastic, metal, paper and other stuff that can be sell or recycled.
I'm taking plastic trash that we collect and other unused things to the trash's collectors near my house. On the way there I look up to the rearview mirror and see a beautiful sky behind me. I stop and take the pictures. It only last for a while because it's raining in the afternoon.
Today event is getting crazy with my college friends at our old campus. Taking plenty of pictures. Having plenty of foods and drinks. Surely we are having fun in this hot sunday morning.
Today I clean up about 30 jam jars. It will used as a glass tomorrow when my college friends and I get together for taking pictures in my campus. This is one way I can think of to avoid using plastic cup.
I soak the bottles and caps whole night with dish soap in big bucket to release all the stickers/labels. And then I wash it today. I collect this bottles for about 10 years. Usually I used it for spices and keep other things in refrigerator such as simple sugar syrup. One way to keep this world green or at least I'm not feeling guilty because of using plastic cups :) Today at afternoon Jurasik, we make "Sunny Side-Up Egg" Pudding (Puding Telur Mata Sapi). Well, this is not really an egg and there's no egg in the ingredients. It's combination of jelly made of konnyaku and milk pudding with agar-agar. Every kids enjoyed making this pudding and everyone has a role in making it. In the end they go home with a jar of sunny side-up egg pudding.
How to make it? Check the recipe below. "Sunny Side-Up Egg" Pudding (Puding Telor Mata Sapi) Servings: 30 puddings "Egg yolk" Jelly Ingredients:

Since we don't have any kitchen assistant anymore, my sister and I have to back to the kitchen to prepare foods. So we decided to clean up the kitchen to fit to our need.
One of things I do is labelling the spices jars. I design the label, print it on sticker paper and put it to the jars. Now everybody knows which spices they need. For the spices jars I used clean jam jars. I choose the same size & shape jars and the same lids except for sugar and salt jars. Mmmmhhh...It seems a little bit OCD, but I love to see it :) I also put clean 5 ml medicine spoons to spices that usually use teaspoon as measurement such as fennel seeds, coriander seeds, salt and others. Today is election day in Indonesia. We choose people who will work in House of Representative. Every people that 17 years old or older has right to choose. We came to a place that designed as pooling place and make a choice. After you put the card in the boxes you will be ask to dyed your finger in special ink as a sign that you already choose. Let's choose for better Indonesia.
The rain and thunderstorm yesterday seem to wash away the dark cloud. It's bright sight outside today. The sky is blue and the clouds are white. It's quite hot outside. Hope you enjoying a nice weather.
Today the air is pretty nice. No smog appear and you can see all the tall buildings from far away. Ooooohhhh...but this campaign attributes just distract the view. They have to take it down today. No more campaign.
