Sisingaan, one of typical Subang, West Java folk peformances. 
This is our late lunch menu today. Since Wira on a break, we decided to try this culinary place in Cikampek. It called Sate Maranggi Cibungur. We are on the way to Karawang today. But to reach this place you have to passes by Karawang. But since this is one of the place I had not chance to visit during the time I work in Karawang, so here we go. I only recalled a blurred memory about this place. All I can remember I had eat in this place once with my family. So I guess I'll write a review on this blog about this place some other time. 
 Talempong is one of traditional percussion instrument from West Sumatra. It made from brass with form similar to small gong. It usually used to produce music for traditional dance from West Sumatra but it also can be played for modern music too. Usually you can see this instrument on a wedding with Minangkabau theme or at other party with the same theme. Talempong usually played with other music instruments such as saluang and gendang.   Today Wira and I accompany my mom and her brother to Bandung. We had invitation to attend a wedding ceremony in Bandung tomorrow. So here we are driving to Bandung on Saturday afternoon. The traffic today is bad especially in JORR. We have to turn around and find another way to pick up my uncle. It took us four hour to get to the Cikampek highway including stop for eating about half an hour. And it took us only two and half hour to reach Bandung. My butt is numb :)   I'm meeting with my high school's best friends today. Coincidentally one of my friend who lives in Dubai came home and she has a chance to come too. The time we meet just in time to see sunset in Jakarta. Two minutes before this you can still see the rounded sun before setting. But I didn't have clear view. When I reach the nice spot to take pictures, the sun already behind the clouds.  
My older sister, Shanty, is doing some home improvement and home cleaning. She creates this corner for her book and reading corner. With my folding table, this place perfect for working corner too. Meanwhile my creativity corner still on progress :) 
Yesterday I got durian in a bag from one of Wira's colleague. I love durian. People usually divided into two categories when talking about durian. Whether they like it so much or they just plain hate it. But in my home, there is another categories that just like it but not so much. While Kaysan hate it to the bone, my older sister and her husband not really have a problem. Sometimes they eat one or two but they not really looking for it. 
I spend almost all my morning activity with this little girl. Her babysitter is lecturing in inspiration class meanwhile I look after her. She is really enjoy playing with the ball in the living room. 
 Few days ago I bought green tea powder. I'm thinking about making my own green tea frappuccino. And today I create Less Sugar Green Tea Frappuccino. I search for recipe online and then try to create according to my taste. I'm avoiding to many sugar in it. Some people may say it's not sweet at all but for me it's perfect. Check out for recipe in here.   It's Indonesia's 69th Independence Day. Usually celebrate with lots of games around our neighbourhood. But this last four years there's no celebration in my neighbourhood because it coincides with Ramadhan and Ied Fitr. This is one of the game, eating kerupuk. You have to eat hanging kerupuk without holding it with your hand. It's a fun game.  
Two tumbler holder ready to giveaway tomorrow. First time I make this tumbler almost a year ago. I made it for myself to bring my tumbler every day. So last night and today I make this two. I promised to give a gift as appreciation to 5 person who bring their tumbler to tomorrow's gathering event. The giveaway present will be two folding bag, two tumbler holder and a vacuum & insulated water bottle. 
Actually today I'm thinking to go to Nacel Open Door Orientation. But my work has not done yet. I still have to gather some stuffs and washing it. I also make two crochet tumbler holder for the Sunday's event. Picture above is some stuffs that ready for zero waste gathering event. 
TBT...going out with luxe on the other sunday and haven't had time to ride it again until next week. Today I'm busy preparing stuffs for gathering on Sunday. 
When I'm seeing this all I can thing is how delicious the noodle inside while the box make me feel sad because you can't destroy it. Such a dilemma. Let's find out to make a glue out of this styrofoam. On the background you can see single use plastic cup for juice, bottled water (well...I can't find out the translation for mineral water in a plastic cup). The tumbler is mine :) 
We are having grilled banana in the middle of our errand at home. We got the unripe cooking banana 2 weeks ago. It's eaten with cinnamon sugar and cheese. It's yummy and perfect brunch for the day :) 
Still doing unfinished errand from last weekend. Continued with having me time in beauty parlour and gathering with my best friends in the afternoon. It's a nice monday after all :) 
 It's silaturahim time with my Dad's family and this two are the favourite star of the day :) Amira and Khalif just 1 month apart. They both very talkative when they already familiar with people around them.  
Today I do some errand outside and stumble into this breathtaking view, sunset in Jakarta this afternoon. The real sunset are prettier than this. I love sunset & sunrise. 
Another my favourite snacks, nuts. I like an ice cream with nuts in it, I also like cake with nuts as one of the ingredients. Thanks God I don't have peanut allergy. 
This is one of my favourite snack. In Indonesia we call it Kaasstengels, but it's different from the real kaasstengels in Netherlands. This is more like cookies while the real kaasstengels more like pastry. It usually available at my home during the festive days such us Ied Fitr. I even have an aunt that give me a box of good Kaasstengels every year :) This year I try to make it myself but it turn out I got a little bit wrong recipe, so it didn't turn out as I expected even though still edible. Try again some other time :)
