 On our last day, we spent it doing laundry, and buy the last things we remember and also we bought ice cream :) I can't wait to go back to Berlin and enjoy some more ice cream even though the weather below 0 degree Celsius outside :D

 This train has graffiti outside. Quite nice graffiti even though it really bother me to see it.   I got an info about Turkish Market not far from where we're staying from the woman who rent the apartment to us. She said you can find lots of fabrics and any craft stuffs. So here I am today visiting the Turkish Market. The market is really nice. They sell all kind of things beside fabrics and craft stuffs. You can find fruit & vegetable stalls, cheese stalls, tea and even food stalls. I treat my self 6 nice buttons and 2 meters of fabrics and also one kilogram of tangerine :)   Today is laundry day. We are running out of clean clothes especially underwear. We washed our clothes in the apartment and bring it to wash center to dry it. If you are going to places more than 7 days, don't bring all your clothes. Just find out where is location of the wash center. It only cost you a few Euro rather than paying for over weight baggage. And you can bring more stuffs to home :)   I always take public transportation in Berlin. I bought 7 days ticket this time and it cost €28.80. With this ticket you can hop to any public transportation (S-Bahn, U-Bahn, bus & tram) within A and B zone anytime.   Today we met a friend and a cousin. Spent the time talking at a bar with a glass of ginger tea since I start to catch a cold and had dinner at Lasan Restaurant in Kottbuser Tor.   I'm planning to go out everyday and capture moments around Berlin during my travel. I'm not planning to be a tourist, so I'll be post pictures randomly from around the city. The only thing I want to do as a tourist is going up the TV tower :) I've stayed in Berlin for about a year but never going up the TV tower.   Meet my favourite accompany in this trip beside my husband of course, I love to capture moments with it.   Today I stay almost 12 hours on my feet. We walk around München. From Marienplatz to Olympiapark. We spent time in a bench under the sun. The temperature reach up to 10 degree Celsius. I can feel the sun warmed my face.   A long time ago, I promised two cousins of mine a crochet sunglasses case. Being busy with this and that makes the promised not yet fulfilled. So starting yesterday I start to make one. I finished up this one during my flight and while waiting for transfer. Hope they'll like it :)   It's time for holiday. Well... everyday is holiday for me 😉 I spent all my morning to pack the suitcases and clean my room. I'm so ready for holiday and see new things.   I finally figure out how to make this tumbler holder look nice. I used some creativity stuffs in Taman Baca Garasi. Get your favorite tumbler/bottle holder now.   I finished up 24 new tumbler holder with some new colours available. I need to figure out how to package it nicely without to much trash to throw out after.   I'm working something new in between making tumbler holder. It's a crochet belt for one of my dress. I see one picture and try to figure out how to make it, since the instruction not really clear. It turn out nicely 😍   Well...I guess this will be the last picture of my granny square afghan for this year. It looks really nice on this sofa. I think I need to buy a new sofa to put my afghan ;p   I'm working with tumbler holder this week and I have new colour on the stock. I try to make it as many as possible and try to sell it. This is one way to promote zero waste behaviour. Go get one for yourself...   Today we provide an internet connection for kids to work with their homework. At Jurasik, besides learning about teamwork, we also provide any help with the homework. Of course we teach the basic of knowledge and they do the rest.   This kiddo got lots of plastic balls to filled up her crib yesterday. She is enjoying this brand new toy. Usually she doesn't like to be put in her crib but this time she's really having fun :D   Raining season is finally came. After two days cloudy and raining, we got quite hot day today. Well...just enjoy the day... :)

 Hope you all not get bored by this picture since I post a lot about this project. Still amazed that I finally able to finish it :)   I'm taking pictures whenever possible. Just like this picture taken this morning when I spent my day in a symposium about critical care. It kinda hard to take pictures daily. So when it possible I tried to take a lot of pictures just in case I don't have a chance to go out or do something interesting.   Few days ago I published a tutorial how to make cheap vacuum-sealer bag from grid seal bag on snapguide. This is my fifth tutorial published there. This inspiration came up when my sister and I packed rendang that will be delivered to our customer. Thanks to years of medical school :) But I still need to figure out how long this vacuum bag will last.   It's been a long time since I step in this place again. This is one of the hallways at the clinic for outpatient in RSCM. Now the hallway looked a lot nicer than years ago.   Since I'm learning how to cook 7 years ago, I always look for easy but delicious recipe. Although lately I also learn how to cook more complicated food. Still the easy things help the most. One of the simplest things is making this salad that contain of carrot and daikon. I keep my recipe in application called Bento. It's a database application and can be used for all kind of database. This application can be connected between my phone, laptop and iPad. I just need to sync it. To bad this application discontinued from the market. I love to check out which recipe hasn't been tried before or has no pictures. From 173 recipes, I still hasn't try about 48 recipes.  |
