Since I used iPod Touch, I installed some travel app in it. And then I change into iPhone and this app always stay with me. This are some application that I found it useful for me when I travel around the globe.
1. Worldmate - The Traveler's Value Pack
I used this app for the first time in 2009. This app can be used to put your itinerary in your iPhone. So your print out itinerary can stay in your bag. You can put your flight schedule, hotel address, bus & train schedule. So you can access it easily during your trip. It also can help you to search hotel & tickets. Besides schedule, it also had currency converter, tip calculator, weather forecast and others. I found this application really help.
I always like to know what I bring when I travel so I won't left anything behind when I came home from traveling. Usually I have a list about for things I need written in a paper. But since I used this app, I start to get rid of my old list. I found this app really useful because you can put everything in here. It also can divide my stuffs in suitcases or bags. And it help me to figure out what to bring next time I go traveling. Beside your luggage, it also have list things to do and notes. First time I used the free version, it about the same but only can put 3 travels.
3. Travelers Check
I love everything well prepared. So I used this one to help me keep up things I brought. Divided into 4 categories: everyday, travel day, hike, and road trip. I usually use this for a short trip such as going out for a day or two. You can add list things you need. If I'm not mistaken, this app used to be free. But when I write this, the app cost $0.99.
4. Power Plug
It always easy to bring universal power plugs but it won't hurt you if you know what kind of power plugs you need when you go abroad. Power plug is a free reference guide to the power plugs and electrical power system around the world.
Note: Nobody paying me to write this.
